A Welcome To Winter

With the weather as cold as it’s been around here lately, and the unusual appearance of even the little bit of snow that we’re having, I decided to give in and officially welcome winter a little early this year. So with that in mind, I thought I would offer up a photo gallery and see if you could feel our sub-zero temperatures right through your screen. But first, I had one other piece of business I wanted to take care of, and that will be explained below.

It appears I’ve been invited by a very nice lady at “A Mommas View” to participate in something called “A Tour Through Blogland”. She also informs me this event even has an alias, and the alias is “The Virtual Blog Tour Award”. Just so everyone knows, I am very honored to have been picked to participate.

The rules regarding this event are as follows…
1.Pass the tour on to up to four other bloggers. Give them the rules and a specific Monday to post.
2.Answer four questions about your creative process which lets other bloggers and visitors know what inspires you to do what you do:
•What am I working on at the moment?
•How does my work differ to others in my genre?
        •Why do I write/create what I do?
•How does my writing/creative process work?

And then write a one-time article which is to be posted on a Monday, (the date supplied by your nominator). (This article can be in the same post in which you answered the 4 questions.)

The date which I have been supplied with by my nominator is December, 29/14.

The date which my 4 nominees have been supplied with by me is January 5/15.

My 4 Nominees are as follows:

  1. Beautiful Life with Cancer
  2. Friendly Fairy Tales
  3. Mother Hen Diaries
  4. Nutsrok

And now, on with my photo gallery, which I have entitled, “A Welcome To Winter”.

Now I don’t know if you could feel the cold in any of those pictures, but I assure you that not a single one was taken when the mercury was on the plus side of freezing no matter which scale you were reading, and while that’s certainly not the Antarctic by any means, or even the Canadian tundra, for us softies here on the West Coast, it is a bit of a trial I assure you. So bundle up, stay warm and healthy, keep on writing all that great stuff, and if you happen to be one of the four Bloggers that I have chosen to pass the torch to in that little award dealie that we were talking about up top, then I’ll be notifying you in the comment section on one of your posts in the next day or so. If you are not on that list, please understand that I follow, to one degree or another, at present, close to 270 Blogs, and I could only pick 4. So if you didn’t make it on this list, just keep your eye out for the next one. Like I’ve said on more than one occasion, I love you guys/gals, and it would never be my intention to slight even one of you. God bless, and until next time…

    1. No problem at all. You’re right about it being cold, which is why I’m when I get back from my doctor’s office, I’ll be staying in and notifying the 4 Bloggers that I’ve chosen. I’m really looking forward to your submission, but I have your daily articles in the meantime. Thanks again for asking me, and we’ll read you later.

    1. I’m very glad to hear that your are also willing to participate as I believe that now makes it unanimous. You people are wonderful. Now if I could just convince one of you to write my submission for me…just kidding. Seriously though, thank-you. Read you later.

  1. Those pictures are amazing and yes I know all about taking photos in the cold. During the snow storm we had in order to use my iPad to take pics I had to have bare hands in temps in the teens. That is COLD. Congrats on the nomination …. you are well deserving. Next time, keep in mind, I don’t accept awards anymore, so please don’t nominate me. GRIN!!! Love, amy

    1. I actually was aware of your award-free status, which is why you didn’t get an invite, so there. Lol. Thank-you for the congratulations, and we’ll read you later.

    1. Perhaps if I could find a way to put it all in a great big envelope, I could mail it to you. I would certainly make a ton of new friends here. Lol. Thanks for reading, and taking the time to comment. Read you later.
