How Did It Come to This?

I was going to add a new gallery today, but a friend of mine posted a beautiful update on the conditions in Greece that I really think people might be interested in reading. It will give you a look at things that haven’t been so dressed up by the media outlets and it certainly reminded me that this isn’t some “country” we’re talking about, but a whole lot of people just like you and me, and what they’re going through is sheer hell.

  1. Hi Mr. Brian,
Came back on wordpress after a long time and the thought of visiting your wonderful blog struck me.
I hope you are in good health and are doing well.
    Good wishes for the weekend.

    1. I am doing fine, and even better after hearing from you, one of my favorite people in the blogosphere. Now that I know you are here, please let me impose on you for some really positive thoughts for our friends in Greece where things are really getting dark and all the best thoughts can certainly do nothing but help. At any rate, as I already implied, my own week-end has already been immensely improved simply by hearing from you, and I hope yours is simply amazing also.

      1. I did read this highly informative and reverberating post and my prayers are with the people of Greece.

My weekend has started off pretty great. Thank you for your wishes. 🙂

    1. Thank-you Takami, I really think it is an important piece Plutonia has written as it is much more human than that which the media keeps throwing at the world. In many ways, this can be seen as a catastrophe on the same scale as a major earthquake or a war. The individual Greek citizen did very little (if anything) to bring this disaster about, but those are the very people who are suffering. Anyway, sorry, I didn’t mean to preach. Thanks again.

      1. Not preaching at all! I couldn’t agree with you more. And thank you so much for your comments on my latest post. I haven’t been able to catch up with comments yet, but definitely look forward to checking out the photo link 🙂
