A Photo-Study of the Vancouver Pigeon

We finally got some sunshine today, so dragging myself away from my writing for a bit, I grabbed my camera, and set out in search of what I could find. I found a few things, and some of those you will probably catch sight of in the next little while, but for today I just thought I would share with you some pictures I was able to apprehend of a flock of pigeons as they were engaging in some play in the afternoon sky. I had so much fun watching them, and some of the pictures came out alright, so here you go, and me, I’m heading back to my writing. So everyone have a good day, stay safe, and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

  1. Good morning from Tokyo, my friend! What a great series on these often-underappreciated birds! I think so many of us take for granted or ignore those that are “easily” found around us. Your photos are a reminder that there is so much around us, all we have to do is pay attention. Hope you enjoy the rest of the week.

    1. I think you are completely right my friend. It’s strange how people tend to judge pigeons so harshly in comparison to doves, but they’re really the same bird. A dove is a white pigeon.
