A Hint of Spring

Well, it looks like we got a little look at the changing of seasons today. The rain stopped, and the sun came out accompanied by a nice gentle breeze that had springtime pretty much written all over it. Everything smelled so clean and fresh that I had no trouble stepping away from the keyboard for a bit, while I went out for a walk and even snapped a few pictures along the way. Coming back in, I thought I would put out this post, recharge my camera battery, have a quick bite to eat, and then see if I couldn’t get a few more shots in before the sun went down tonight. I figure since I’ve now racked up somewhere in the area of 34,000 words, on 128 pages, spread over 8-9 pretty rough chapters (I’m actually working on smoothing out Part 1 these days, which is why the word-count is not increasing very rapidly), I can manage to justify a couple of consecutive days off to let my thoughts settle down.

So anyway, here’s a few pictures I took this morning, and a couple I took some time ago. I hope you find at least one or two you like. I also hope that your weather is as nice as mine is, and that you are having a wonderful week-end. In the meantime, stay safe, healthy and happy, and we’ll see you next time around. Have a great one.

    1. Thank-you Tikami, we pretty much have to grab the sun when we can this year, I see we’re socked in with rain again today. Oh well, life is good. : )
